Some of the Key Words for this Article really say it all. Words such as: like minded, passionate, committed, socially responsible, independent, want change.
These are the people I focus on to build my Team. It doesn’t matter if I’m doing business online or working offline. My approach is the same. I want certain people to work with. They need to be Socially Responsible. They must be disgusted and tired of all the chemicals in our foods and in our soil and water.
They must be passionate about living a more natural lifestyle. So much so that they refuse to use harsh chemicals to clean their homes. The foods they eat and the supplements they take must be all natural and made up of organically grown plants and animals.
Such people are committed to a certain lifestyle. They are passionate about how they live and are totally committed to being healthy and about not relying on medicine to cure them. They believe that: ‘When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use and when diet is correct, medicine is of no need!’
Why do I focus on people with these interests?
Mainly because they are my interests also. I work better with and am more comfortable with people that share the same interests that I have. Plus, the company I promote offers products I can believe in. By picking my Team Members with care, I am insured that they will be passionate about my opportunity and will gladly work toward promoting and building up their own Team of fellow believers.
It just makes sense to do it this way. If you enroll just everyone that comes along, pretty soon you’ll have a bunch of people with little in common. Your opportunity won’t resonate with them and if they happen to see some other bizop that might appeal more to their core beliefs…they will leave you.
People like to be where they feel comfortable. You can’t blame them. This is one reason some people have high turn over on their Teams. Instead of focusing on the benefits that a business may have, too many try to tout how much money a person can make.
If you will start focusing on people with your lifestyle beliefs you will develop a more committed and cohesive Team that functions like a well oiled machine. Such a Team will grow to a point where you will have permanent, monthly, lifetime, residual income that you can count on!
When everyone that you recruit believes as you do then your turn over rate goes down and the Team’s enthusiasm goes up!
Ask questions when interviewing a potential Team Member. What are they interested in? What are their core believes? Does it seem as if they align with your beliefs? Are they just looking for some quick income or, do they want to offer real change to others? Be picky about who joins you in your business. After all…you own it.
