The great thing about Network Marketing is, if a Company has a really good pay plan, you don’t need to sell hardly anything!
Let me explain.
Most pay plans, nowadays, are set up as a 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 down to 7, 8, or 9 or 10 levels. We’ve all seen them and some of us are currently enjoying the rewards of such a plan. A lifetime, recurring residual monthly income is a gift from the heavens!
At least it will be if you put in the work to create it.
Anyway, back to the 3 x 3 pay plan.
What a 3 x 3 pay plan usually means is, you only need to enroll 3 people on your first level. Once you’ve done that, you’re through with selling whatever the product is. Now you need to become a Sales Manager. Your job, from the 2nd down to all the following levels is you Manage, Train, Motivate, Promote, Teach, and Inspire others to get their 3 on THEIR First Level.
Most people hate to sell but, if you understand these pay plans, you really only need to have 3 people under you. All the rest of your team building consists of Training and Teaching others. Just show your 3 how you did it and have them show their 3 how you did it…and so on and so forth. Do this down to as many levels as you need to.
All you’re really doing when building any team is setting an example. Those in levels below you will know that you’re at the top and by golly, you got you’re 3 people really fast so they will be motivated to do the same.
Of course, it helps if you’re pretty selective as to who you personally recruit. You want someone that wants some extra money and has an opened mind and will follow your instructions. In other words, someone that you can show how to do what you do. If a person will listen to you…that’s 90% of the battle.
As soon as you’ve filled your own first level stop selling and start managing and training. This way your team will be stronger and on the same page. They’ll be more consistent and you’ll see a better retention rate which means better income.
Just put in the time to teach and train everyone and in 6 to 12 months you’ll have a great team and a growing income. (Time to kiss your boss goodbye)
All the best,
